Project in Progress - Kitchen Frame

We don't have a land line in my apartment, but there is still that hideous old school phone jack by the refrigerator in the kitchen. This is a visual eye-sore. So to remedy it, I came up with an idea - to cover it with an acrylic box frame. Here is what I have so far:

New Project! Front Door

I have decided to plant some poppies by the front door for Spring. Unfortunately, on my tight budget I could only afford the plain terracotta pots to keep them in:

I have come up with an idea to make them a little more appealing to the eye, without losing the fabulous terracotta color. It involves these products:
