Project in Progress - Kitchen Frame

We don't have a land line in my apartment, but there is still that hideous old school phone jack by the refrigerator in the kitchen. This is a visual eye-sore. So to remedy it, I came up with an idea - to cover it with an acrylic box frame. Here is what I have so far:

New Project! Front Door

I have decided to plant some poppies by the front door for Spring. Unfortunately, on my tight budget I could only afford the plain terracotta pots to keep them in:

I have come up with an idea to make them a little more appealing to the eye, without losing the fabulous terracotta color. It involves these products:

IKEA Haul

Curtains Finally Finished!

After many weeks of putting this off, I finally have finished the bathroom curtains. Despite my lack of sewing skills and the curtains ending up a little too long, they look nice!

MISSION: Redecorate Living Room

My beloved roommate has decided to move and is taking all of her cute decorations with her. While this is sad, this leaves me no choice but to redecorate - starting with pillows and curtains. These are the curtains I have already purchased:

The couch is a medium ivory color, so here are the pillow coverings I am contemplating:
